Rive Droite – Rive Gauche
Rive Gauche / Rive Droite
An exhibition of new work by 27 international artists
September 6 – 25 2010
Curated by Marc Jancou, a New Yorker galerist, Rive Droite / Rive Gauche functioned as a walk through Paris, with works placed in various locations, which are rarely accessible to the public.
In Rive Droite / Rive Gauche, the works were shown in the exhibition space of Catherine Houard, under Azzedine Alaïa’s skylights, in the private office of Etienne Breton and Marc Blondeau, at the ceramicist specialist Lefebvre & Fils, in the private residence of auctioneer Jean Marcel Camard, and at the legendary taxidermy shop, Deyrolle.
